Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI/HindIII--2.7 (vector), 0.9, 0.7, 0.4 (insert). An EcoRI/HindIII double digest shows insert fragment sizes of 0.9, 0.6, and 0.6 kb. Codominant segregation of the MspI polymorphism has been demonstrated in 56 3-generation families.
