Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): PstI--3.15, 2.7; HindIII/EcoRI--3.15, 2.7; BamHI--5.6, 0.44; SalI--5.6; HindIII--5.6. The PvuII polymorphism has demonstrated codominant segregation in 60 families. Detection of the PvuII polymorphism (2 alleles) was verified by CEPH. Isolated from cMCT58 by YN-12 oligonucleotide; RFLPs observed under normal stringency (0.1X SSC). Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: MspI. |
