Complete Growth Medium	The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated DMEM:F12 Medium Catalog No. 30-2006. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum 5% (final conc.) NCTC 109 (InVitrogen Cat No. 21340-039) 5% (final conc.) HL-1 Supplement (HL-1 medium supplement Lonza Cat No. 77227 or 77228) 1% (final conc.) 0.1 mM hypoxanthine 0.016 mM thymidine
Subculturing	Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 1 to 2 x 10⁵ viable cells/mL. Maintain cultures at a cell concentration between 2 x 10⁵ and 8 x 10⁵viable cells/mL. Medium Renewal: Add fresh medium every 2 to 3 days (depending on cell density)
Cryopreservation	Complete growth medium described above supplemented with 5% (v/v) DMSO. Cell culture tested DMSO is available as ATCC Catalog No. 4-X.
