It cross-reacts weakly with the 85 kDa subunit of rat LRP. The antibody does not react with the 515 kDa subunit of rabbit LRP.
Complete Growth Medium	The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium, Catalog No. 30-2002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
Subculturing	Cultures can be maintained by the addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 1 to 2 x 10⁵ viable cells/mL. Maintain cell density between 1 x 10⁵ and 1 x 10⁶ viable cells/mL. Medium Renewal: Two to three times weekly
Cryopreservation	Complete growth medium described above supplemented with 5% (v/v) DMSO. Cell culture tested DMSO is available as ATCC Catalog No. 4-X.
