The antibody reacts with denatured beta chains of the b, d, p, q, bu and bw haplotypes. It does not detect the intact H-2b Class II molecule, and does not detect the beta chain on the cell surface. It does not react with molecules of the a, k, f, j, s, and tl haplotypes. The reactive determinant most likely involves residues 153 through 155. |
