The antibody reacts with denatured beta chains of the a, f, k, j, s and bw haplotypes. It does not detect the intact H-2b Class II molecule, and does not detect the beta chain on the cell surface. It does not react with molecules of the b, d, p or q haplotypes. The reactive determinant most likely involves residues 153 through 155. |

| Subculturing |
Protocol: Cultures can be maintained by addition of fresh medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 1 X 10(5) viable cells/ml. Do not allow the cell concentration to exceed 1 X 10(6) cells/ml.
Subcultivation Ratio: Maintain cultures at a cell concentration between 1 X 10(5) and 1 X 10(6) cells/ml. Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days |
