Animals were immunized with CMV infected human fibroblasts. Spleen cells were fused with P3X63Ag8.653 myeloma cells. The antibody reacts with a 72000 dalton HMCV immediate - early perinuclear antigen. The antigen is expressed within three hours of infection with HCMV. |

Medium Renewal: Every 3 to 4 days
Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Start cultures at 2 X 105 cells/ml and maintain between 1 X 105 and 1 X 106 cells/ml. |
