This line was derived from a radiation induced T cell lymphoma. Production of IL-2 is stimulated by T cell mitogens. Peak levels are found in the culture medium after 24 hours of stimulation with either 1% PHA or 20 microgm/ml Con A. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |
