Comments	Rats were immunized with syngeneic normal rat kidney cells (NRK) that had been infected with Harvey murine sarcoma virus. Spleen cells were fused with 210RCY3 Ag 1.2.3 myeloma cells. The antibody is specific for the Ha-ras (Harvey) p21 and does not react with the p21 of Ki-ras (Kirsten).
Complete Growth Medium	The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium, Catalog No. 30-2002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
Subculturing	Dislodge attached cells from the flask substrate with a cell scraper, aspirate and dispense into new flasks. Maintain cultures at a cell concentration between 1 x 10⁵ and 1 x 10⁶ cells/mL. Do not allow the cell concentration to exceed 1 x 10⁶ cells/mL. Medium Renewal:Two to three times weekly
Cryopreservation	Complete growth medium described above supplemented with 5% (v/v) DMSO. Cell culture tested DMSO is available as ATCC Catalog No. 4-X.
