| Comments |
DNA was isolated from oocysts of Crytosporidium parvum, Iowa (A) isolate, obtained through the AIDS reagent program of NIAID. Oocysts were originally isolated from the feces of a calf near Ames, Iowa in the mid-1980's and have been passaged continually in calves in Arizona since that time. |
